Why Get Licensed?

Constitutional Carry - Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

Being Texans, we think we know things, but we don’t know. We don’t know all the things that we should consider before we carry firearms in public routinely. Licensed and Certified by the State of Texas, we can train you for your License to Carry (LTC) quick, easy and in a relaxed atmosphere. You should absolutely have your LTC regardless of the constitutional carry law change. Yes, Constitutional Carry is here but that doesn’t negate the need to get licensed. Constitutional Carry has limitations and liabilities. There are still many benefits to obtaining a LTC Permit such as the ones listed below:

• You should still have some firearm safety training… What we were all taught isn’t enough.

• You still need knowledge of the firearm laws in Texas

• You will still need functioning knowledge of your firearm

• With an LTC, you don’t have to wait for a background check to purchase a firearm

• Your LTC will make interactions with Law Enforcement much less complicated.

• Law Enforcement officers and officials respect law abiding citizens who take the time to get proper training to carry a firearm in public.

• You still need to know where you are, and aren’t, permitted to carry your firearm

• If you do interstate travel, there are States that require a permit even with reciprocity agreements in place

• You should still have training in Situational Awareness, Conflict Avoidance, Situation De-escalation, and Conflict Resolution

• If you should ever have to defend yourself with your firearm, you are going to need to know what is and what isn’t a defense to prosecution

• If you should ever have to use your firearm, you may wind up in a courtroom, either criminal or civil, and it would benefit you to be able to demonstrate that you have had formal training
